Pausing noisy alerts during maintenance

Reconciliation monitors default to cautious alerting. That is good until every engineer mutes the channel. Pause windows now attach to shared calendars with owners and rollback notes.

We log every pause with immutable IDs so postmortems can reconstruct intent. If a pause exceeds its window, escalation routes reopen automatically.

The feature is intentionally boring: no gamified streaks, no emoji fireworks. Reliability culture prefers quiet competence.
